With this, our first release of the Topcoder Direct, you now have access to thousands of design professionals and can get quality work done for less money in less time. This is just the beginning, however. The below Roadmap provides you with guidance and visibility on the future directions of the Direct service.
If you don't know where to start or just don't have the time, you will soon be able to engage a Direct Copilot to get your projects completed. Certified and rated members of the TopCoder community will be available to help you define, post, monitor, review and complete your projects. Intimately familiar with the TopCoder process, these members map out a process to complete and execute your project, allowing you to focus on the end goal.
Based on feedback from users during our live beta test period, our proposed new user interface design will make it easier for you to create and manage contests. Planned improvements include easier to use widgets, greater integration with Studio forums, notifications via email, sharing submissions, and more. Soon you'll be in even greater touch with the community, your projects and the assets (work products) created for you.
As Direct evolves, it will incorporate more and more of the tasks and processes needed to complete your diverse projects. From today's single-image submissions, Direct will expand to let you to solicit and recieve work including:

As part of our expansion into software development, we also intend to give you access to our sizable catalog of pre-built, affordable assets like graphics templates, software components, application designs, etc. to help lower your project cost, improve quality, and shorten your time to market.
