RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication, and it offers an easy way to stay up to date on new content from websites you care about, like Topcoder.
You can read our RSS feeds using a program or website called an RSS reader.
Good questions. First, here’s why you should care.
RSS is simply an Internet technology standard that allows busy people to receive updates to web-based content of interest.
You might have figured that much out by now. But basically, that’s the essence of an RSS feed – you subscribe and then receive new content automatically in your feed reader.
Unlike getting website updates by email or having to go visit plenty of URLs, RSS feeds give you absolute, 100% complete notifications when there is something new for your attention. Also, you don’t have to reveal your email address. If you want to stop receiving content, you don’t have to request to be “taken off the list.” One click, and voilà… the subscription is gone.
To use our RSS feeds, you need to perform these steps:
Some of the most popular RSS readers include Feedreader, Feedly, and The Old Reader. You can go check this best free RSS readers review for help selecting one to use. I personally like to consume feeds from my phone by using an app called Read for Android. Just Google for “RSS reader app for mobile” and tons of reviews and suggestions will hit you to pick from.
Did you know that all email clients support RSS natively? You can have your news channels configured for updates there as well. Here is a guide on how to subscribe with Outlook and another for how to subscribe with Thunderbird.
Using Brave browser? Check this guide and add RSS feeds to customize your favorite content directly in the browser!
You’ll need to know the URLs to the RSS feeds you want to subscribe to. Here they are:
The Topcoder Blog - https://www.topcoder.com/blog/feed/
Topcoder Thrive - https://www.topcoder.com/api/feeds/thrive
Topcoder Forums - https://discussions.topcoder.com/discussions/feed.rss

In the RSS reader program, find the link to add a new feed and enter the URL of the feed. After you add it, you should immediately see a list of articles. You can now browse and click the article you want to read.
This is how it looks in Read.

After clicked, the feed is subscribed to and content is immediately synchronized.

Enjoy quality content from Topcoder and your favorite channels with the RSS reader. Stay up-to-date with information published on Topcoder Blog, and Topcoder Thrive. More ways to be always synchronized are by visiting Community Home and the forums regularly.
