A Software Design Engineer in Test (SDET) combines the "building" aspect of software design engineering with the "breaking" aspect of software test engineering. You'll break the product down - including creating tools such as automation, stand-alone programs, and device drivers - then work with Software Design Engineers to take the product smoothly to beta stage.
