Project Background

  • Commercial Insurers are providing sophisticated digital self serve tools allowing customers access to loss details, policy, billing, multinational premium payment tracking, implementation status and premium audit along with notification functionality.
  • Our client’s customers have consistently expressed interest in digital tools and have explicitly asked for on-demand and centralized access to key insurance information.
  • The purpose is to design a UI Minimum Viable Product (MVP) with enough features and functionality to deliver on key customer needs based on 6 core knowledge areas: Contacts, Policies and Endorsements, Risk Engineering, Claims, Industry Insights and Billing (incl. calendar).

The application may have different user types which have different permissions, meaning that not all the areas will be available for them. In this challenge though we will concentrate on the master user, who will have access to all the areas.

Please make sure your design includes the following screens and functions. As we are developing an MVP, only selected functions are required for this challenge.

  • Chart displays a summary of policies and endorsements by LOB, policy period, type (policy/endt), description, symbol and number with link to attachments.
b.) 1.b View policy/endt details: User clicks (link/icon) to view U.S. Domestic policy or endorsement which launches as a PDF
c.) 2.a Report an error/request a change: If user identifies an error on policy summary or attachment, user can click to report it to broker for resolution (e.g, incorrect term)
