1. Watch a new JH ad or promo
2. Provide feedback to JH (product, ad, event)
3. Provide suggestion or ideas or new feature they want to see in JH product
4. Play a potential Health or insurance game (as part of the application)
Accumulated points can be used to as cash for JH logo products. JH can reward the winners (monthly/quarterly with new term policy or paid up premium).

Challenge Goals
The goal of this challenge is to design visual concepts for a NEW mobile “Get Rewarded” application that will increase product awareness, promote JH products and target new market segments. Our vision is to increase engagement from our customers and contribute to the overall John Hancock customer first focus. This includes:
- Meaningful feedback from our customers, giving them more influence
- Increased insights and interactions with our customers
- Increase connection/humanize our brand
- Rewarding our customers for their input
- Gain new customers

Design Consideration
- Think about an application that is easy to use for customer
- Customers are able to comment, suggest and provide feedback on JH products (insurance, investments, retirement)
- Branding – our customers will be interacting with our brand and submitting items (photos, comments etc. within the app)
- Think about designing a mobile app that is able to create natural interactions (flow of conversation and help) with our customers.
- Explore the possibility of how rewards and gamification features can become solid application tools that work in the mobile space.
- Think about connection, feedback, influence and rewards.

Some example features to think about
- First time user experience (flow of setting up the application)
- Profile Creation
- Notifications (notifying a customer to review a new product or advertisement)
- Interactions (posting content/posting feedback/making comment/etc.)
- Gamification (points? rewards and badging system? Possible games related to our products/industry)
- Cognitive and ChatBot Integration (users do not want to hunt for things… they want to know where to go and what are possible suggested actions to increase their possible rewards)
- JH and product education/marketing
- JH recommend products

LUX Challenge Requirements
Application Name:
- Help create a simple name (JH Rewards etc.)

Branding Guidelines
- Follow JH _Brand Book_02r.pdf and John Hancock Logo

~
Mobile Storyboards
- Design screens for iPhone 7 (Portrait view, 750x1334px)
- This will be a native iOS application so think of any native features and interactions (camera)
- We only need 7 screens plus a presentation screen - so pick/design what you think will "showcase" this application.
- In these LUX challenges the "Concepts", you propose really help the presentation

Things to think about (as a user)
- When I first open the application what should I see in the app (as a customer)?
- What is the priority actions or items I need to interact with?
- What might be the first-time user experience?
- I quickly want to interact with the application content as easy as possible.
- What are the navigation items (primary and secondary)?
- Cognitive features/chatbot – how might this appear and help the user?
- Gamification features? rewards system?

Suggested Screens

- In a LUX challenge, this screen is very important so make it look good!
- If you were walking into a meeting and needed to sell your idea - use this screen to showcase your concept.
- DO NOT put extra text on this screen - use it to showcase your application!

2) Dashboard
This will be the main interaction point of the application. What will customers (and potential customers) see and be able to do? What content is driven by their profile information and JH product information and “Get Rewarded” tasks and actions?
- Show a list of items that might need feedback (and points associated?) Maybe some are harder to accomplish than others?
- Show list of Product offerings (quiz, polling, check video promo) that user can explore
- Quick navigation to create content or comment on something the user is involved in
- List of user recent activity
- Highlight product offerings, and if possible can be able to provide intelligent recommendations

-- Application is recommending a product (e.g. 401k, Life Insurance, 529 plan) based on the user’s profile. (This should not be annoying)
-- Connect customer to means of getting more information (website, coverage coach, etc.) or link directly to apply
-- Use of the photos through social media channels, campaigns, etc.

- ChatBot Integration
-- Use to be able to respond to users, acknowledge feedback, real time interaction.
-- This should be a “smart” bot … like Siri, Alexa, Watson etc.
- What do you think is important here?

- User can fill out general information and add more detailed information later (maybe they are rewarded with points for finishing their profile)
- Profile items (age, sex, job profile, photo, JH account information if they have it)
- Feedback - customers should be able to quickly send in questions, suggestions
-- Ad-hoc mechanism for users to send questions, suggestions
