Application Description:
The average consultant doesn’t have time for extended training but knows she needs to keep her knowledge current.  She keeps her smartphone with her 22 hours per day. This app sends her training throughout her work day in short 3-5 minute training/quiz sessions.

We need [topcoder] to gamify this existing app.  Add more gaming elements to the app including but not limited to: sound effects, animation, characters, graphics, badges, and other gaming design features.

Note:  We don’t have any branding guidelines; so feel free to suggest the colors.

Required Screen Sizes:
- Tablet Standard Size: 780px x 1024px
- Mobile Standard Size: 320px x 480px OR iPhone 6 Size: 750px x 1334px

Supporting Documents:
- Current Application (meet-ashley.ppt)

Design Goals:
- Think how quickly the user can find what he is looking for?
- The application should be easy to use.
- Think simple but effective solutions!
- We are looking for Modern mobile designs including best UI practices, make sure the application is visually appealing.
- We are looking for a responsive design to adapt to different smartphones screen sizes and resolutions.

User Flow:
- Ashley signs up for training challenge.
- Ashley is sent several training videos and questions over the course of the training challenge.
- Ashley answers the questions and gets points.
- Points are added to a leaderboard.
- The top 5 on the leaderboard are given points to purchase items in the company catalog.

Storyboard Requirements:
- We would like you to suggest features/screens that this app should incorporate:

1) Splash Screen Page:
- The user opens the application and sees a branded splash screen.
- Featured training challenges animate in.
- My challenges animate in (the ones you already registered for before)
- The user clicks on sign up button to see the available training challenges.

- The user can return to quiz page after a break.
- Quiz will be in form of multiple-choice answers.
- Current answer selection highlighted.
- Countdown timer with urgency styling.
- Click to confirm finishing the quiz and view results.

6) Leaderboard Page:
- Users will be ranked in order from first to last.
- Total points will be presented numerically and graphically.
- User can scroll to view full leaderboard.
- User data will always be visible (Fixed at bottom)

Important:
- Keep things consistent; all graphic styles should work together.

Target Audience:
- Consultants and Sellers, but open to all IBM employees.

Judging Criteria:
- Cleanliness of your graphics and design.
- Creativity, user experience and ease-of-use around exploring the org chart is key to the success as it must be engaging to the employee.
- The client is looking for an engaging, fun experience.  We want to encourage people to take training and enjoy it!
