Challenge Overview

Use your JavaScript and Salesforce skills to build a Lightning Application that is similar in functionality to PollEverywhere. Take a look at their video to get an idea of the functionality but you can skip the open-ended questions portion of the app. Store the questions and answers in When the user opens the app they will see the question and various answers. Once they select an answer, the graph will dislay with the results. As more and more entries are added to the database, the chart will redraw itself with the updated results. The user should be able to switch to other questions with a picklist to either answer them or see the results. Pretty graphs would be very welcomed.

Is this your first time building Lightning Components? No problem! See our Build Your First Lightning Component tutorial to help get you started or the links to Salesforce1 Lightning documentation in the FAQ section of

Reliability Rating and Bonus

For challenges that have a reliability bonus, the bonus depends on the reliability rating at the moment of registration for that project. A participant with no previous projects is considered to have no reliability rating, and therefore gets no bonus. Reliability bonus does not apply to Digital Run winnings. Since reliability rating is based on the past 15 projects, it can only have 15 discrete values.
