Challenge Overview

Project Overview

The client for this project has an existing system called Quality Incident Reporting (QIR) application.  This existing application was created using SharePoint and is used for creating and managing quality incident records.  The goal for this project is to build a new Quality Incident Reporting application using .NET (based on the existing QIR application).

This challenge will focus on fixing various bugs found while UAT.

Update Department Notification List and Event Log

  1. Change title “Department Notification Recipients” to “Notification Recipients for this Quality Incident Report”.

  2. Add Notification Person

    1. Change Name of “Add Notification Recipients” to just “Add” with a tooltip that says “Add Notification Person”.

    2. Remove “Department” from Dialog title bar. (this is to specify recipient for this QIR only, not the department)

    3. Remove Role from the Notification list. (This may mean removing it from Dept Notification List page(tab) and the table as well.

    4. When I added a notification person for a QIR, the main form did not show any of the recipients for this qir. It should show the list that is currently seen when we click on View Dept Notification Person List. The View Dept Notification Person List button should show the department’s recipients which is defined for all QIRs using the Dept Notification Lists tab.

    5. When you select a role with a long name, the control wraps to the next line.

  3. Dept Notification List

    1. Dialog should show department name.

    2. This dialog should be read-only and only have the OK or CLOSE button.

  4. Event Log is not tracking changes appropriately.  Track creation, incident status change, investigation status change, initial email sent.
