Challenge Summary

Welcome to "F2F - Styx Black and White Monochrome Icon Recreation Design Challenge".Styx is currently looking to generate icons based on roughly 200 images that are stored in a pdf file.  The icons are very basic in complexity and are in monochrome.  We need to re-create each icons and have them created in png files with the following sizes: 24x24, 32x32, 48x48, 64x64.  The icons should be created in monochrome.  For this challenge, we want both the high resolution, vector-based images as well as png formatted icon images. Looking forward to see your participation in this challenge!!

Challenge Background

We need to re-create icons from our PDF files for internal purpose. There are a total of roughly 200 images that need to be created as icons.  For this initial challenge, we would like to create the core images symbols that make up the majority of the icons, as well as a subset of 19 icons that represent a subset of the complete set of images. Subsequent challenges / private tasks will be created to complete the remaining icons once this first subset is completed.

Design Guidelines :
- Create your design in monochrome colors (black and white)
- Create your icon in the following size :
* 24x24px
* 32x32px
* 48x48px
* 64x64px

Design Requirements :
- Please create your design both in the high resolution and vector-based images
- Please create the following icons :

01. Task One
- Create the basic symbols and shapes that represent the majority of the icons.
- There are a list of the core symbols and shapes the icons will are based on.
- For consistency, we want these shapes to be created in an Adobe Illustrator file.
- These images do not need to be broken up into icons, but should be created and used as the core shapes for the icons.
- Reference screen Page 2 from "StyxIconGenerationChallenge-2015-06-22-cp1.docx"

02. Tasks 2
- Create Initial subset of icons
- Reference Screens Page 4 - 12 from "StyxIconGenerationChallenge-2015-06-22-cp1.docx"
- These icons should be using the shapes / symbols defined in task #1 where applicable (combination)
- Some things to consider :
* Note the relative size defined in the table in Task 1.
* The shape size and font size should be consistent/relative across all icons.
* This means that you will need to look at the larger icons defined in this challenge to best judge the font size and border padding across the different icons.
* As stated earlier, all icons should be created in black monochrome with transparent bacgrounds.

Deliverables
- For this challenge, we will require the final submission to provide both the high resolution, vector Based files
- See file names defined in table (Attached in document StyxIconGenerationChallenge-2015-06-22-cp1.docx).
- In addition to the high-resolution files, individual "png" files should be generated with consistent naming based on the image name in the table.
