Challenge Overview
We've been building a mobile magazine application over these past few months. It grabs content from all over the internet, aggregates it together, and displays it in a nice HTML5 front end.
Previously, we have improved the Add Custom Feed API to do validation for urls.
this challenge will update the html5 web app code to consider this changes.
1. Add a Dropdown for Category to select from, instead of hard-code it.
2. If user enter a invalid feed url, the backend rest api will throw error, and the frontend should show error dialog for this case.
The backend rest api in demo serer is already updated.
a copy of the latest source code will also be attached in forum.
To ease your life of deployment, you can try drop the app code in your web server, it will use our backend services in our demo server (54.87.113.189).
How to Test
Please test the app in iPad (Potrait and landscape mode) and iPhone (Potrait mode).
Final Submission Guidelines
Winner will be asked to merge their code with our Github repository.
