A Tragic Loss
Today we received some really sad news from a member. One of our members, [h]humblefool[/h], passed away in a car crash. [h]humblefool[/h] was one of the first Indian red coders on Topcoder and has been a member of Topcoder since 2005. He was a proud graduate of Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad and a fantastic competitor, participating in challenges across multiple tracks. Even more than that, he was a great community member and gave back to the overall community in countless ways. [h]humblefool[/h] personally trained and recruited many other Indian members to participate in SRMs and Marathon matches.
I personally had the pleasure to work with him in the past on numerous projects. [h]humblefool[/h] was a brilliant coder, reviewer and algorithmist. Besides working at Topcoder, I know his passion lied in startups. Topcoder placed [h]humblefool[/h] at a small startup where he worked for several years before starting several companies back in India.
Our condolences go out to his family and friends.
