When you register for the first time, it’s important to pick a username (“handle”) that you will want to stick with for years to come. Your handle cannot be changed. Here are some things to keep in mind:
To ensure anonymity, it’s best not to use ‘firstname.lastname’ for your handle.
You can have fun with your handle and make it something unique that represents your personality or skills
Your Topcoder member profile information can be updated within your Account Settings. Your real name cannot be edited once processing has started on a first payment, but may be corrected by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Email addresses can also be changed by emailing email@example.com.
Currently, we do not allow changes in your handle unless there is a valid security reason to do so.
To keep the integrity of our rating system, individuals are only allowed to have one account. If you create a new account, all of your accounts may be suspended.
You may email a request to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will work with you to remove your account.
You may email a request to email@example.com and we will work with you to provide a copy of your data.
