November 27, 2019 The Second Annual December’s Big Give is Here: Bigger & Better!

Last year, we kicked off our first ever December’s Big Give. It was such a hit, we have to do it again! We are excited to bring back for the second year, December’s Big Give but it’s bigger and better plus a twist!

The goal of December’s Big Give is to give weekly rewards for our community members just for competing! That means by coming to Topcoder, participating in a challenge of any kind and submitting, you’re being entered into a drawing for cash. All Topcoder challenges (including Marathon Matches and Single Round Matches) within the week count with the exception of tasks which are excluded from this contest.

DETAILS

December’s Big Give will kick off Sunday, December 1 and every Monday we’ll select a winner. 

Timeline:

• Week 1:
  December 1, 2019 at 00:00 – December 7, 2019 at 23:59.
• Week 2:
  December 8, 2019 at 00:00 – December 14, 2019 at 23:59.
• Week 3:
  December 15, 2019 at 00:00 – December 21, 2019 at 23:59.
• Week 4:
  December 22, 2019 at 00:00 – December 28, 2019 at 23:59.
• Week 5:
  December 29, 2019 at 00:00 – January 4, 2019 at 23:59.

Prizes:

• Two members win $500 each every week.
• Five members win a Topcoder t-shirt every week.
• Ten members win a Topcoder decal every week.

Cash prizes will be sent out immediately so you can use for your holiday shopping and other items will be shipped out within six weeks.

PLUS THE TWIST

It is the season of giving so not only are we giving to you, but we’re giving you the chance to give as well. What does our community have more than any others? Amazing skill and talent. We are offering you the chance to share your wealth of knowledge with the Topcoder community. 

Submit an article or tutorial anytime between December 1 – 31, 2019. All approved article submitters will earn $150. There is NO limit on the amount of articles you can submit. The rules are they must be original content, not already published, and not something we already have in our library.

In order to qualify to win a prize during December’s Big Give, you must meet the general eligibility criteria on our terms.
