April 18, 2019 TCO19 Algorithm Byes Announced
We are just a few hours away from TCO19 Algorithm Round 1A (Registration Open) and it’s time we announce Automatic berths, a.k.a. byes, which is the first interesting part of the algorithm tournament.
Top 250 highest rated members win an automatic berth to Round 2 of the tournament. To be eligible for a bye, members must have competed in a rated SRM in 2018/2019 and have at least 3 rated events in total.
Over the recent years the rating required for getting a bye has fluctuated between 1900 and 2200. This year the cutoff is 2047. Check out the full list of members who were awarded a bye this year here.
