Single Round Matches (SRMs) are timed competitive programming algorithm matches. All competitors are given the same three problems to solve under the same time constraints—a 90 minute round and a 15 minute challenge round.
WHY ARE srMs IMPORTANT?
These types of competitions are important because they push the competitor to think under pressure and be just as creative as their opposition. SRMs sharpen the mind and increase the skills and confidence of everyone involved. These high pressure competitions can be a true benefit to future gig work and real world scenarios.
