The Challenge
Zurich’s Risk Advisor iOS app empowers customers with self-service risk engineering tools—helping them assess and manage risks across multiple locations. As a core part of Zurich’s customer-centric value proposition, the app needed to deliver a flawless experience across iPhone and iPad devices.
With a critical release approaching, Zurich needed a rapid and scalable way to test the app’s functionality, usability, and content across a range of Apple devices and OS versions.
The Solution
Zurich partnered with Topcoder to crowdsource testing through its global QA community. Over just three days, 60 testers from 8 countries ran functional and UI/UX tests across 9 unique iOS device combinations.
Testers explored the app's features and documented real-world usability, identifying errors and inconsistencies and suggesting targeted improvements.
