How do I login?

All member accounts have been ported over to topcoder. There may be an issue if you had accounts in both CloudSpokes and topcoder with different handles but using the same email address. For those rare instances, please support@topcoder.com and we’ll merge your two accounts into one.

If you were using one of the social logins at CloudSpokes (github, google, twitter, facebook) then your login should work the same. If you were logging in with your own username and password then you will need to reset your password before logging in. After resetting your password, login at http://www.topcoder.com and not the link provided at the end of the process. If you are having any problems logging in, please contact support@topcoder.com with your email address and handle.

How do I get Paid?

Beginning 1/1/14, CloudSpokes members will be transitioning to the topcoder payment process and no longer be paid via the CloudSpokes website.  To ensure a smooth transition, please note below the steps you will need to take in order to get paid: Step 1: Update your topcoder member profile so that your full name and address appear. If you are having trouble logging in please contact support. Step 2: Choose your payment preference on your profile. Topcoder has 3 payment methods:
  • Payoneer - Lots of flexible payment options (learn more)
  • PayPal
  • Western Union>

All payments have a “Release Date” that is 30 days after it’s creation date.  Once a payment has reached that “Release Date,” a member is able to select that payment to be released to them.  No longer will you be paid on the 10th and 20th of each month. You can now select to get paid based on the following payment schedule:

Payoneer – immediate

PayPal – immediate

Western Union – Paid on the 15th and last day of every month

Step 3: Submit all required documents for payment. Tax Form.  If you have filled out a tax form under CloudSpokes, you will not have to complete a new one.  If you have not, please follow this link to complete. Affidavits.  To receive payment from Algorithm Competitions, you must have submitted a notarized affidavit and affirmed the affidavit from the relevant competition online.  Learn more about Affidavits. Assignment Documents. To receive payments for competitions other than Algorithm Competitions you must have submitted a competition assignment document. Learn more about Assignment Documents. Step 4: Track your payments. Members can track the status of their payments through the Payments page under “My TopCoder”. The CloudSpokes challenges have been migrated over to topcoder. You’ll find them listed as Code and First to Finish challenges. These challenges will remain the same with the same rules as CloudSpokes. You will notice at this point we have not rolled in all of the topcoder processes like Reliability and Digital Run.  These challenges will count towards winning your way to the TopCoder Open 2014 Registration for Challenges now required We will now require participants to register for challenges. Once you’ve found a project you’re comfortable with, and you have the time to complete it, you’re ready to register! Click on the Register link on the project details page to register for the project. If you miss the registration date you will not be allowed to submit or complete.

Legal Documents

You will not be required to complete any legal docs you have already completed on CloudSpokes like 1099s, W8BENs and NDAs.


All profiles will be migrated over to TopCoder.
