Challenge Overview
We would like to add a feature to our existing mobile app that let’s the people using the app to specify locations inside real world stores by placing pins on a “map” of a store layout. The maps will be a collection of 8 - 10 generic representations of known Store Layouts, 1 map per store type and that 1 map can be used to represent thousands of real world stores. A Display is defined as a special grouping of product containing 1 or more product types that are “displayed” on the store floor. We would like the pins to represent a Display from an evolving set of Displays, and we’d like to track performance of those Displays with data that we will collect from another system such that when someone touches the pin on a map, they see historical data about the sales performance of the items in that display in that spot in that store.
