Challenge Overview
We need to design and develop a new B2B application to provide illustrated parts/item lookup and allow dealers to purchase parts from the site through direct account. We will also need to upload files with detailed images to the site that tie to specific parts. These images will contain hot spots that link parts to sections in the image. The application will need to interact with our existing ERP system to retrieve pricing, verify account credit availability, and create orders for proecssing. Authentication will be handled by our existing Dealer/Customer portal that the users already have access to. Preference is that the application be built in .Net and use DotNetNuke for CMS, which the current Dealer Portal is based on.
