Challenge Overview
Topcoder is in the process of developing a new version of the Connect platform, which connects customers with project managers, copilots and competitors to run projects through the Topcoder services.
We are happy to bring challenges to our community to help us building one of the main tools our teams and community members will be using soon!
For this challenge, we need your wise skills to help us cleaning up some CSS conflicts and bugs that affect the performance of the app.
From the known issues, we need to fix #2 only. Ignore #1. Prize has been respectively accorded.
The new version of Topcoder Connect aims to provide an easy experience for customers and project/challenge managers through a very clean and modern UI.
The goal of this F2F challenge is to debug and fix existing issues with the CSS performance of the application.
Known Issues (Debug & Fix)
1. CSS Duplicates
- There are a bunch of duplicated rules from the scss global file against each React component implementation.
- Remove/clean ALL duplicate rules making sure the affected components and overall view still renders as it’s originally supposed to do (as provided).
- Go through the “projects” page to find/fix the CSS issues:
-- /projects
-- /projects/<id>/specification/
2. Live Reload Not Working
- Not working for CSS right now.
- Must be fixed.
General Requirements
- Document your debugging process. Describing where you found issues (files/lines) and how you fixed them.
- Source code and design text must be written in US-English.

- Latest Chrome on Mac and Windows
- Latest Safari on Mac and Windows
- Latest Firefox on Mac and Windows
