The goal of this challenge is to take an existing Python/Django application that is hosted in gitlab, and find a Continuous Integration (CI) cloud service that automate deploying the application to heroku.

Challenge Requirements

The application source code with detailed deployment guide to deploy to heroku is hosted in gitlab

Please check forums to get access to the repo.

Once you get access you need to fork the application and do testing against the forked version.

CI Platform Requirements

The CI platform can be free or paid service (i.e. https://magnum-ci.com/), you can ask for approval on the tool via contact manager or forums.

You need to :

- Write any build scripts required to integrate with the CI platform

- Update application scripts files if needed for integration, and Update README if needed.

- Write a detailed deployment documents for how to setup the application and build scripts. Use Markdown language so we can host it in Gitlab Repo Wiki page.

- Provide a verification steps for the build execution.

- Include the files you are updating or creating

Deliverable

- All required files that address the requirement above.

- Deployment document in markdown language format

- Verification document
