Welcome to the Vitruvius Remediate Defects Challenge. You will be working with a Ruby on Rails application and will be fixing bugs as part of this challenge

 

Project Overview

Our client helps individuals, teams and organizations to accelerate innovation. They have a web application that serves as a platform for individuals to grow in their personal development, for teams to build their collective capabilities and for organizations to drive large scale cultural change.

This project centers around the client’s web based application where we intend to enhance its design and architecture.

 

Challenge Details

We launched a Bug Hunt challenge last week and in the process we logged over 40 issues for our client’s RoR application.

 

As part of this challenge, you need to fix the issues reported. You also need to make sure that your fix is valid for the following browsers:

  1. ���Chrome 46

  2. Chrome 45

  3. Edge 13

  4. Edge 12

  5. Firefox 42

  6. Firefox 41

  7. IE 11

  8. Safari 9

  9. Safari 8

 

We will share the issue list and the code base with you in the Challenge Forum - this is only visible after you register for this contest.

 


Final Submission Guidelines

  1. Fork the provided Github repository. Work on your fork. Fix issues in your fork.

  2. Make sure that each issue has a commit message associated with it. That way, we will know for which issue, what fix was carried out.

  3. When you are ready to submit, upload a text file with your github handle BEFORE the submission phase ends for this challenge..

  4. AFTER the submission phase ends, kindly create a Pull Request to the main repository. Kindly make sure that you create a pull request only after the submission phase has ended.

  5. Reviewers will review your Pull Requests. Any hint of copying other’s work will disqualify the submissions.
