Challenge Summary
Welcome to 3D Systems - OpenHaptic Device SDK Uninstaller Storyboard F2F Design Challenge.
3D Systems is a cutting edge 3D printing company and they are looking to update the design look and feel for their Open Haptics SDK kit to be more in line with their brand. For this challenge we’d like to concentrate on three specific areas of their Open Haptics SDK application. Your goal should be to show design concepts that improve the user experience of existing SDK installation, dashboard screens, and technical documentation for a desktop experience.
For this F2F challenge, we are looking to design existing Uninstaller screens (Existing_uninstaller_screens.zip), based on the look & feel of new designs.
Challenge Assets:
Existing Uninstaller Screens: Screens that need to be redesigned
New look & feel: Look & feel based on which existing screens need to be redesigned.
Required Screens:
We need below screens to be designed...these screens are shown in sequence:
1) Warning Pop-up before installation (warning-before-start-installation.png):
- We need you to come up with a pop-up design, use the content as shown in the pop-up image
- How do you think this pop-up need to be designed with similar look & feel?
2) Uninstallation Screens:
Below are the sequence of screens shown when uninstallating the OpenHaptics SDK
- Please grab content for each of these from corresponding existing screens..
- Make sure to have them in the new look & feel
Initiate Uninstallation (path-step.png):
- This is screen where they initiate the uninstallation
Uninstallation Progress (uninstall-step.png):
- Show a progress bar that shows the uninstallation progress, see to make it inline with the new look & feel
Uninstallation Success (success screen.png):
- This is uninstall success screen
- Will this screen look good if we have a success icon in it, we are looking for your ideas.
Uninstallation Failure:
- We don't have existing image for this screen but it will be something similar to uninstall screen but will have a different content and icon, show us how this screen need to look like
Pop-up to continue installation (uninstall-complete.png):
- This is similar to "Warning pop-up before installation" pop-up, just a change in the content and buttons.
F2F GUIDELINES:
This F2F is subjective - so the first solution that the client likes and fulfill the required updates will win.
We will review ALL submissions until we declare a winner based on
1) Task Requirements
2) Client is happy with how it looks/works
3) Time the solution was submitted

Submission & Source Files:
Preview Image
Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.
Submission File
Submit JPG/PNG for your submission files.
Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop and saved as layered PSD file, or Adobe Illustrator as a layered AI file.
Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors. We may ask you to update your design or graphics based on checkpoint feedback.
