Challenge Summary

Welcome to "F2F - Updates Healthcare Mobile Apps Design Challenge". We are in progress developing new mobile application. This application is a mobile apps that focus on personal healthcare. In this challenge we are looking for your help to create and updates several screens for this application. Join us NOW!!


Background Information
This new healthcare mobile application targetting adults that have concern about their personal health. By using this application, the apps user will be able to set and reach their health target along with watching their progress in daily base, monitor their food and meal activity, and this apps also will also have social feature, sharing and chat with their friends, how cool is that!! Check our requirements below for more details. 

Design Considerations:
- Looking for modern, futuristic, intuitive user interface
- Focus on the design for a great user experience
- Give importance to the overall layout and think on how a user would interact with the content on the page.
- Show all the screens and provide a user flow/click-path, so we can see how the interactions fit together in the application
- We had allowed Stock Photos for this challenge, feel free to use images related to this site!
- We had attached design from our existing design, please make sure to follow the look & feel from that!

Branding Guidelines
- We have provided a design direction document to help you get started.
- Please use the PSD source (our existing designs, attached in this challenge) as a starting point for your design exploration
- Use english for the content, we will convert it to Japanese language in development phase.

Design Size:
- Develop for iPhone 4, 5, and 5s screen resolution : 640px width and height as required

Required Screens:
- We need below screens to be created as a part of this F2F challenge :

Updates Screen Requirements :
01. Login Screen 
- No updates needed for this screen.

02. Top Screen
- Add a weekly calendar.
- Change the upper graph to a graph of weight history.
- Change the 3 small graphs to the ones indicates :
* Daily target walking steps
* Daily target calories to consume
* Target weight

03. Bottom Menu (Top, Advise, BloodTestResult)
* Change the camera icon to something that indicates meals log.
* Add new "Other" icon at the right side of the menu.
* Add annotations.

New Screen Requirements :
- We've provide a wireframes (check healthcare_mobile_app.svg in your browser) for your guidance about the apps flow.

01. Meals Log Screen
- This new screen will replace photo screen from existing design.
- User can choose a meal to input.
- breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, night snack, etc.

02. Food Search Screen
- User can search what they ate for the meal selected in meals log screen.
- User can search food by name.
- User can choose food from the list and input how many pieces he/she ates.
- User can confirm calories of the food when he/she input pieces.

03. Food Barcode Reader Screen
- User can specify food by reading barcode.
- User can input how many pieces he/she ates.
- User can confirm calories of the food when he/she input pieces.

04. "Other" Screen
- This screen will be open if user touch/tap the "Other" icon in the menu.
- Provide for the following navigation item :
* Target Settings
* Nutrition Balance
* Friend Profile
* Settings
* Help

05. Target Setting Screen
- User can input general profile and their personal weight targets :
* Choose user Gender
* Age
* Height
* Initial weight
* Target weight
- User can see weekly weight loss history in table or graph view.

06. Nutrition Balance Screen
- User can see nutrition balance on a day such as balance of carbo, fat, protein

07. Friend Profile Screen
- User can see friend's portrait and name and 3 small graphs. The 3 graphs are same to the ones displayed on top screen.
- User can text-chat with the friend on this screen.

F2F GUIDELINES:
This F2F is subjective - so the first solution that the client likes and fulfill the required updates will win.

We will review ALL submissions until we declare a winner based on
1) Task Requirements
2) Client is happy with how it looks/works
3) Time the solution was submitted

Target Audience:
- Young to Middle aged adults who have interests in their health status (Japan).

Judging Criteria:
- How well you plan the user experience and capture your ideas visually
- Cleanliness of your graphics and design
- Your design should possible to build and make sense as an application

Submission & Source Files:
Preview Image
Please create your preview image as one (1) 1024x1024px JPG or PNG file in RGB color mode at 72dpi and place a screenshot of your submission within it.

Submission File
Submit JPG/PNG for your submission files.

Source Files
All original source files of the submitted design. Files should be created in Adobe Photoshop and saved as layered PSD file, or Adobe Illustrator as a layered AI file.

Final Fixes
As part of the final fixes phase you may be asked to modify your graphics (sizes or colors) or modify overall colors. We may ask you to update your design or graphics based on checkpoint feedback.

Please read the challenge specification carefully and watch the forums for any questions or feedback concerning this challenge. It is important that you monitor any updates provided by the client or Studio Admins in the forums. Please post any questions you might have for the client in the forums.

How To Submit

  • Upload your submission in three parts (Learn more here). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
  • If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and “Final Fixes” (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
  • You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.

Winner Selection

Submissions are viewable to the client as they are entered into the challenge. Winners are selected by the client and are chosen solely at the client's discretion.

Your Design Files:

  1. Look for instructions in this challenge regarding what files to provide.
  2. Place your submission files into a "Submission.zip" file.
  3. Place all of your source files into a "Source.zip" file.
  4. Declare your fonts, stock photos, and icons in a "Declaration.txt" file.
  5. Create a JPG preview file.
  6. Place the 4 files you just created into a single zip file. This will be what you upload.

Fonts, Stock Photos, and Icons:

All fonts, stock photos, and icons within your design must be declared when you submit. DO NOT include any 3rd party files in your submission or source files. Read about the policy.

All submissions are screened for eligibility before the challenge holder picks winners. Don't let your hard work go to waste. Learn more about how to  pass screening.
