Challenge Overview
Integrated functionality for monitoring the overall access control system at a glance, including the following elements:
- Server information, common to the lite version and also other pages.
- Abnormal hardware, highlighting counts and providing additional data about devices that are currently in a state other than the state their current configuration indicates; for example, a reader that is scheduled to be in the “card only” state but has been manually set to “unlocked”.
- Database backups, an indication of the time since a backup was performed for the main access control database and optionally an archive database.
- System performance, a set of bar graphs summarizing a snapshot of system performance data from each of the configured servers (covered in more detail on the individual pages for those servers).
- Security KPI, a set of key performance indicators consisting of selected events, counts, and other conditions of particular interest to users of the access control system.
- The Area utilization summary bar, the same as is shown on the Area Utilization page, including counts and trend data (percentage change between the current and previous day) for all configured areas.
