The 2015 Topcoder Open is on and there is only one round left to qualify for the Algorithm Competition. So, mark your calendars for Saturday, May 9 to compete!

We are also excited to announce that our St. Petersburg, Russia event is almost sold out! Plus we’re going to be announcing the details about the Hackathon at that event and the next regional event in June in San Francisco so stay tuned!

TCO is the long-standing, time-honored, ultimate programming and design tournament. The only one of its kind, anywhere. It’s made it through the early “start-up” days of Topcoder with dodgy A/V in tiny rooms, US recessions that led to a reduction in tournament staff, the introduction of new ideas and staff from the game-changing Appirio acquisition, and much more! All of these changes — good and bad– have made TCO what it is today, and we want it to continue to evolve and become even better. That is where you come in.

Prove to us that TCO is still important to you. Show us your TCO spirit. Help us fight for TCO this year and for years to come by competing and cheering on your fellow competitors.

Be a part of the future of TCO now, because it’s changing and the trends we set now could set the path for next year. Let’s make it amazing!

If you’re completely new to Topcoder, learn all about the TCO here.

If you’re unsure about the Algorithm Competition details, you can read them here.

If you’re wondering why I’m so fanatic about TCO, well then check this out!!

TCO means a lot to me personally and to many others here at Appirio. Being a Topcoder Open Champion is an amazing feat. If you haven’t already qualified for round 2, don’t forget to try again on Saturday. Even if you’ve never participated before, give it a try. Come see what this thing called TCO is all about.

The competition is fierce, but we’re sure you’re up to the task! Good luck!
