October 29, 2020 The QA Finals at TCO20 are Looking Fierce

The south asian dominated QA Finals will be interesting to watch as the experienced greats like codejam, Sharathkumar92 and Satkan will be challenged by the new QA sensations Payal2514, mancoolgunda, varun22303270, and akultalwar89. Our new QA finalists have been doing amazingly well in our QA challenges lately and TCO finals will be nothing different.

Want to understand how the QA Finals work? Here is how it is structured.

There are three phases in the whole competition, while phase one and two are focused on completing manual test cases and doing bug hunts, the third phase brings an interesting element to the competition. 

The third phase, also known as the challenge phase, is where members would be able to challenge the bugs logged by other members. Every bug can be validated by another competitor.  For every bug they find that is not valid, you can take away points from the competitor. Challenge phase was the most interesting phase last year as it allowed members to gain a good amount of points and hold strong positions 

Here’s how the leaderboard would look like during different phases:

Live Broadcast

The last hour of the competition will be broadcasted live with QA Admins ksmacleod and crazyk as hosts, taking you through members screens and cameras and talking about the state of the match. The last one hour being the challenge phase there would be interesting live commentary around the super fast challenges happening, something that you should not miss. 

Also after the contest we will have Payal2514 and varun22303270 for a small post match interview. It will be interesting to hear their thoughts about the match and their experience as a first time finalists.
