January 16, 2017 Road to Open Nation: Innovation as a Service

Join Topcoder and IdeaScale on Wednesday, January 25 at the HDE Open Lounge in Tokyo for a free evening event focused on innovation as a service in the enterprise. You’ll learn how enterprises around the world are successfully driving open innovation to deliver high-quality, measurable results.
Mr. Tomohiro Sawada will deliver a keynote presentation on creating open innovation in Japan, and speakers from IdeaScale and Topcoder will present on best practices for leveraging innovation management and crowdsourcing to drive open innovation.
This event is ideal for enterprise executives and managers focused on developing new products and lines of business, and also system integrator executives and managers seeking to increase the number of proposals they can deliver and fulfill for customers. A cocktail and networking reception will be held at the conclusion of the presentations.

Tomohiro-SawadaTomohiro Sawada
Mr. Sawada works for a large manufacturer, where he engages in UI planning for copy machines, projection equipment, Windows and iOS applications, and video conferencing systems. He moved to the business development division of the enterprise in 2014, and since then he has been meeting with over 200 people per month, expanding his connection with start-ups and managers of business development at large enterprises.
Subasinghe-IsuruSubasinghe Isuru, Sr. Director of Operations, Japan APAC, IdeaScale
After working at Rakuten as an innovation program director for three years, Subasinghe Isuru now represents IdeaScale Japan as a innovation and open innovation professional. Since June of 2016 he has also served as the Japan Innovation Ambassador of GIMI (Global Innovation Management Institute, Massachusetts Boston, US), which supports creation of global innovation.
Tatsuro-YoshikawaTatsuro Yoshikawa, Business Development, Topcoder Japan (TC3 K.K.)
For over 10 years, Tatsuro Yoshikawa has been engaged in business development and alliances with global/Japanese IT and telecommunication enterprises and fixed/mobile carriers. At Topcoder Japan (TC3 K.K.) he focuses on developing new business models with major IT companies in Japan leveraging Topcoder’s global community.
