BMC’s executive briefing center (EBC for short) is one that is world-class and is focused on providing an excellent experience to facility visitors. They had previously partnered with Appirio (Topcoder’s parent company) to successfully develop a mobile app to move their briefing center surveys off paper, but they wanted to develop a new app that would serve as a “mobile concierge” for visitors to the EBC. Crowdsourcing was leveraged through the Topcoder Platform to develop the MyEBC app in 5 months to create a personalized briefing experience for BMC’s Houston, TX headquarters visitors.
With MyEBC available in both the Apple App Store and Google Play store, facility visitors can download the app and effortlessly manage all aspects of their trip from agenda, weather, flight info and preferences to nearby events and recommended restaurants.
