This week’s Best Buy circular advertisement highlights the new Flat Panel TV Finder App on BestBuy.com, built through competition on TopCoder as part of the Best Buy Remix Challenge.

Awesome news! Last week and this week the Flat-Panel TV Finder that was constructed with the help of the TopCoder community is featured in the Best Buy Weekly Ad. I took a picture with my phone, so sorry if the quality stinks.

This is great news for the community and shows off the awesome work you’ve all done. Hopefully we see more examples like this in the near future!

The Remix Challenge is an ongoing series of TopCoder competitions in which competitors are building quick & lightweight apps using the Remix API of Best Buy. The challenge has enabled Best Buy to get apps built, tested, deployed and making a significant impact on bestbuy.com at dramatically lower costs and shorter timeframes.
