The primary way customers engage with the TopCoder Community to get work done is by working with Copilots. Copilots are experienced TopCoder members that specialize in managing projects and contests for customers using the TopCoder Platform. Essentially, you tell them what you'd like to get done and they get it done for you.
To engage a copilot, you launch a contest using Cockpit. To launch a Copilot contest, you’ll need to enter the detailed information about what you want to achieve in this project. Be sure to provide documentation to help competitors understand your objectives.
Copilots will submit a game plan and a strategy document. A game plan is a roadmap of the contests that you plan to run to complete the project and will indicate the total time and cost estimates for the work to be completed. The strategy document is a brief text document that describes the general approach and strategy to executing and completing the project.
