Specification review phase is important in TopCoder. The Specification reviewer read throughout the contest specification, documents provided and the required output. The reviewer will also consider the difficulty and the amount of work involved. Is prize structure good enough? Is timeline appropriate? Are there any missing items in the specification? If he/she approved the specification then the contest will be run as scheduled time.
