Quantified Self: Disruption on the Individual Level
For those who thought the iPad making its way into the walls of the enterprise was true consumerization of IT, think again. The Quantified Self Movement is an amalgamation of newer technologies, applications, devices and trends that delivers data back to an individual helping them track their performance and then make personalized adjustments to continuously improve their outputs. The Quantified Self is beginning to make waves in Health IT and Sports Analytics but the movement is poised to make a disruptive leap from nifty niche to omnipresent next. Get ahead, understand this movement and how it will affect your enterprise. Come talk directly with some of the most ambitious pioneers in this space and get a glimpse of your own quantified future in the process.
The Biggest Losers: A Discussion on Failure
It’s one thing to gather our fantastic clients 2x per year at our CRT and have them talk about their top successes on the TopCoder platform. But what about the failures? Isn’t that where we actually learn what went wrong, what caused delays and outputs that were below optimal or downright poor? Join us for a client-led discussion on failure that will illuminate specific projects gone awry and the lessons learned while failing fast on the TopCoder platform.
The Front End of Enterprise Open Innovation
FEI or the Front End of Innovation has been pre-maturely labeled as “fuzzy”. Ideas, concepts, prototypes and the like streaming in from all corners of the enterprise and outside the traditional four-walls, can be hard to quantify because they can be difficult to near impossible to instrument. Corporations are realizing the potential “open” can bring to their enterprise, but most Open “FEI” efforts stop well short of delivering measured value. In this session, TopCoder clients will share their journey through this “fuzzy front end” and showcase how they arrived at actionable and instrumented outputs that were created via TopCoder competitions that focused on the Front End of Innovation.
