Challenge Overview
If you are like me, you just can’t stop watching those ALS Ice Bucket Challenge videos! They are all over Youtube, Facebook, my grandmother's blog and the country club. But that's the problem! I don't want to search RSS feeds, follow people on Facebook (OMG!) or subscribe to Youtube channels for cat ice bucket challenges. I want my ice bucket challenges is one centralized place where I always know where it's at... just like my TV remote.
I want you to create an iPad app for me as I'm lazy. It should provide me with the latest news, information and videos on ALS Ice Bucket Challenges, perhaps by category (celebrity, bloopers, strangest places, my friends, etc) or source. Maybe a random video button (ice bucket roulette?). Maybe share the links on social networks?
Plus, since this is all for a great cause, put a huge link to donate to ALS so I can give generously and often.
Final Submission Guidelines
There are no restrictions on frameworks but your application should be written using Swift as much as possible. If you use Objective-C and someone else obtains the same functionality using Swift, they will be given precedence. All applications must pass the Appeals stage from other participants.
Submit your Xcode project along with a video of your iPad simulator demoing the application. If you used Objective-C or any other framework, please briefly expain the rationale and why use used it over straight Swift.
