Millions of Us Solving Problems: A SXSW Panel on Open Innovation

SXSW, the amazingly popular Austin based event, has been Crowdsourcing a portion of their panels since first introducing their now famous PanelPicker in 2007. Today, you get to help elevate a panel on Open Innovation featuring two companies, TopCoder & InnoCentive, who have been embracing and leading in Open Innovation & Crowdsourcing since 2001.
We feel when you ask someone to support you, it’s appropriate to offer a few clear reasons why. We do want your vote and we would love if you shared the panel with your social peers, but we want to earn it.
Why This Panel Deserves Your Vote
It boils down to what you might learn or the benefit you or your business might derive from this panel. If you are looking to incorporate Open Innovation strategies into your world, then be prepared to have these topics discussed:
- How open innovation and crowdsourcing can generate new sales, new products, and new intelligence for your business.
- Why the crowd is able to come up with new ideas and solutions for your business faster and more cost effectively than ever before.
- What the future of Open Innovation holds with regards to business opportunity.
And of course more topics will be discussed and great dialogue will be born.
If you are already involved in Open Innovation, perhaps as a champion or Director of Innovation at your corporation, or as an innovation consultant, there is one main reason to vote for this panel and that is illumination for the entire space. TopCoder and InnoCentive each grow and foster specific communities that work on a wide variety of projects. But by no means do our two companies comprise all the work and discovery that can be done via Open Innovation. This will be the first time both Jack Hughes (founder of TopCoder) and Dwayne Spradlin (President and CEO of InnoCentive) will share the stage together at SXSW and we know it will be memorable.
We ask you to kindly support this panel by registering your vote today. And it wouldn’t be a proper discussion on Open Innovation if we weren’t seeking your feedback, opinions and questions. So when you are finished voting, consider leaving a suggestion or asking a question via the comments section inside the panel-picker. Help shape this discussion and help kick-off the dialogue to what is sure to be a stellar panel. Thank you, your participation is appreciated!
