Change the User Experience, Win the Innovation Game
The digital-physical divide is no longer. The singularity is nigh and though we aren’t quite all wearing Google Goggles just yet, we continue to see applications making their way off of the digital screen and back into the physical realm where they are changing how we humans actually interface with the “real world”. It’s a growing trend and an important one.
In a recent post that, yes, gave major kudos to Lady Gaga and her innovative aspirations that is delivering her next album in the form of a mobile application, we ended that post with this simple thought: Change the experience, win the game.
Keeping with that same theme, check out this incredibly innovative use of an iPhone and a creative device to device connectivity that accomplishes the same exact “things” as the Gaga app. Only this time it changes how you experience self-education on the guitar. The creators of this interface didn’t invent the iPhone, and they of course didn’t invent the electric guitar, yet look what they did create.
Are your digital applications and how you approach re-thinking the physical realm helping you to change your user’s experience? You should strive to, because that is where innovation is born and tremendous and unique value is created.
