Candidates MUST be able to:

- Immediately begin development of a sales pipeline and creation of a business plan including specific target accounts and strategies to exceed revenue goals.
- Balance aggressively identifying potential revenue-generating prospects with developing long-lasting, relationship-based business partnerships that benefit both parties.
- Visualize and articulate innovative ways TopCoder can have a direct, beneficial impact on a prospect’s business.
- Think outside of the “cold-call the CIO” box.
- Utilize strong research and networking skills critical for pipeline/account development.
- Demonstrate interest in exploring the latest technology trends and gadgets.
- Utilize social networking tools like LinkedIn/Facebook/blogs/forums etc.
- Travel frequently. This position can be based anywhere in the US.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Demonstrated strong selling skills or an aptitude for identifying/closing business opportunities.
- A basic understanding of software development – although the ability to discuss social networking, crowdsourcing and other “Web 2.0″ concepts would suffice.
- Candidates must be US Citizens, have a valid Greencard, or be eligible for a TN visa.

Account Manager
TopCoder is growing! As the sales team keeps landing new accounts and our existing accounts keep growing we need to find new account managers to help our enterprise customers unleash the power of the TopCoder Platform. The account management team plays a critical role in expanding and managing our enterprise relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage an organizational transformation
- Encourage customer adoption of the TopCoder Platform
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within customers
- Establish and grow business relationships within the customer
- Help to resolve obstacles that impair growth and adoption of the TopCoder Platform by the customer
- Define value for the customer and report regularly in terms of:
- Innovation
- Capability
- Capacity
- Cost
- Monitor the adoption and usage of the TopCoder Platform
- Ensure the proper on boarding and engagement plan is followed
- Organize monthly and/or quarterly meetings between the client executive sponsor and TopCoder management to review the engagement status

TopCoder Platform Specialist
TopCoder is based on innovation. We have created the first ever competitive software development methodology. We need your help to manage and evolve our process of competitive innovation and software development. We are looking for smart, disciplined, amicable people that can monitor multiple concurrent customer projects and facilitate their success.
Responsibilities:
- With the help of automation, monitor and maintain project health for multiple concurrent client-directed projects.
- Anticipate and raise, or proactively respond to, potential and actual project related roadblocks and obstacles.
- Maintain as-needed communication with project copilot and stakeholders.
- Help to improve TopCoder’s innovative, competitive software development methodology and associated processes.
Other Requirements:
- Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and basic familiarity with current mainstream software technologies
